8 March: Long Live Women in Struggle Against the Far Right

All over the world, women are promoting networks of solidarity, forms of protection and denunciation against all violence, whether domestic, imperialist military or fascist. Women are building forms of resistance in their territories against hunger, poverty, wars, extractivism, climate collapse and deprivation of rights.

It is within this framework that International Women’s Day will take place with the occupation of streets and territories around the world against fascist authoritarianism. We will march inspired by the anti-imperialist, socialist, anti-racist, anti-patriarchal, and eco-socialist struggles of the world. Our voices will resonate against the billionaires and their transnational corporations that increasingly exploit women’s labour to increase their profits. That is why we cry that all lives and the common goods of nature are worth more than capital gains.

We will march:

- Against Donald Trump’s US imperialism, which persecutes immigrants, Black people, women and the LGBTQIAPN+ population in the United States and around the world;

- Against Putin’s equally misogynistic, homophobic and bloodthirsty regime and its invasion of Ukraine;

- Against Iran’s murderous and brutal regime;

- Against the genocide of the Palestinian people perpetrated by Netanyahu and Trump, with the complicity of European governments.

We will march in defence of Latin America and the Caribbean, denouncing the criminal blockade imposed on the Cuban people and the political and military intervention in Venezuela. Against big tech companies and the US military-industrial complex that attack the sovereignty of peoples around the world by controlling digital social media platforms that spread the ideas of the far right, conservatism, racism and misogyny.

We will march for reproductive justice, for the decriminalization of abortion, for safe, legal and free abortion. For the liberation of our bodies, self-determination and the freedom to choose our sexual orientation and gender identity.

We will march understanding the importance of the women’s strike as a tool that highlights the role of productive and reproductive work in sustaining society and preserving all forms of life. We will march for the self-determination of peoples, for peace and the demilitarization of life, and we will fight against all ongoing wars in the world.

We stand in solidarity with Palestinian, Venezuelan, Cuban, Russian, Ukrainian, Iranian, Kurdish, Afghan, Sudanese and Congolese women and with all women around the world who resist occupation and armed conflict. We demand peace and an end to imperialist interventions that plunder territories, violate our bodies and maintain the privileges of the richest.
